Being on the frontline everyday as retail pharmacists, we began to truly feel the demand for prescription drugs increase with each year. While great for retail pharmacies, it can present as a burden if you’re a patient who needs your pharmacist’s time for consultation and resolving any issues or concerns that may occur if the pharmacy is too busy and understaffed. It is really a tough situation for both parties when all you want to do is pick-up your refill or even get a phone call if there is an issue. This should not be the way you perceive your process to better healthcare; or do you even have a thought for how this process should be?
